Phone conversation I had today with the coolest guy I ever met:
Me: Hey Gramps, how was Rome?
Grandpa: It was okay, but the best part was coming home to the good ol' U.S. of A.
Me: Aw, c'mon Gramps... wasn't seeing the Colosseum really cool?
Grandpa: You know what that looks like? An old, broken-down building.
I love my grandpa. I so agree with him in that there's so many beautiful and wonderful places in this country that I have yet to explore, so why would I need to go abroad to see something farther away? The rest of our conversation we talked about our camping trip this spring, I can't wait!
