Good Dialogue

I played pretty poorly at cards tonight, but there was a conversation at my table that was the highlight of my evening. It took place between two friends of mine who didn't know each other at all. A paraphrased version of it is below.

MF: Where are you from again?
KP: I'm from around here.
MF: Oh, I thought you were from Detroit.
KP: Why did you think I was from Detroit?
MF: I don't know, you just have that vibe about you.
KP: What vibe?
MF: Must be that unemployed vibe.
(Long awkward pause...)
MP: You're really unemployed, aren't you...?
KP: Yup
(Shorter awkward pause...)
MF: Awww, what are the odds of that happening?
(Even shorter awkward pause...)
MF: Well, 10% I guess.

I enjoyed this immensely. Besides my sucking, it was a very well hosted poker gathering.
